Then, came the bit about the life jackets. “Pull over your head, tie in a double bow at the sides” then the bit that got me thinking. “There’s a light on it and a whistle for attracting attention“

Just look what happened to Tom Hanks in Castaway. Did the light and whistle help him? Five years on a deserted desert island? Methinks not.
